There will be a memorial concert to honor the life of Judith Wachs, the founder and artistic director of Voice of the Turtle, who passed away in October 2008.
The Memorial Concert for Judith Wachs will be on:

The concert will feature Judy’s group, Voice of the Turtle, as well as
Libana, the women's world music ensemble for which Judy served as a board
member and occasional advisor. There will also be a short film about Judy's
life and work with Voice of the Turtle.
